Background
John Petrsoric is a partner at BC Law Group. Mr. Petrsoric practices in patent litigation, particularly in the electrical and computing arts.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Petrsoric has worked on numerous high-profile patent litigations involving some of the most respected companies spanning a wide range of industries, including consumer electronics, telecommunications (including core network traffic management, voice-over-IP technology, wireless communications and data over cable technologies), semiconductors (including microprocessor and signal processor design), and computer software (including financial industry automation, mobile operating systems and animation automation). He has litigated and advised clients in all aspects of patent litigation, including infringement, validity, enforceability and the scope of damages.
Mr. Petrsoric has rich experience in patent litigation and transactions. He regularly advises clients on IP related projects including IP due diligence, drafting or reviewing IP related contracts, and technology transaction negotiation.
Mr. Petrsoric was previously associated with Russ August & Kabat, King & Wood Mallesons, Mishcon de Reya, McKool Smith, Goodwin Procter and Kenyon & Kenyon.
Mr. Petrsoric attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, respectively. He graduated with honors from Fordham University Law School. Prior to going to law school
Mr. Petrsoric worked in the Advanced Technology and Development Center at Northrop-Grumman Corporation where he spearheaded design of an advanced commercial signal processor utilizing in excess of forty microprocessors. He also conceptualized, developed and obtained United States Patent No. 5,381,357, entitled “Complex Adaptive Finite Impulse Response Filter.”
